Pamela is the leading Scot in Norway after Round 3 of the European Amateur Championships

In the third round today of the European Championship Pamela Pretswell from Hamilton has regained the honour of being the leading Scot. She had a 75 for 228 and is in joint 17th position, three places abot Sally Watson who had a 75 for 229.
Kelsey MacDonald is having an up-and-down tournament. The Vagliano Trophy player from Nain has had scores of 79, 71 and 74 for 234 and is joint 43rd on 234.
Three Scots failed to make the cut on 237 or better.
Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) shot 79, 83 and 79 to fail by four on 241.
Robert Gordon University student Jane Turner had an even bigger roller-coaster ride than Kelsey MacDonald with scores of 85, 72 and 85 for 242.
Louise Kenney (Pitreavie) and Lucy Williams, the respective Scottish and English national champions, both failed to qualify for the final round. Lucy had an 86 for 244, Louise an 83 for 247.
Lisa Maguire now has a four shot lead on 214. Her twin sister Leona is six shots behind.
