Donna Jackson (Cochrane Castle) headed a field of 37 players for the qualifying round of the Renfrewshire LCGA Championship at East Renfrewshire Golf ClubAlthough the course was very wet underfoot, the greens were in excellent condition and the rain stayed away.
Top seed for the championship match-play is Donna Jackson (Cochrane Castle) with a gross 71, closely followed by Eilidh Briggs (Kilmacolm), coming back after injury, with a 72. Defending champion Gillian Kyle (East Renfrewshire) qualified in third place with a 77.
Tracy Masterton (Milngavie) qualified in first place for the Irvine Trophy with a score of 89 - 12 = 77.
The Peggy Clark Trophy was won by Donna Jackson (Cochrane Castle) with a score of 71 - 2 = 69.
The CSS was74 and the SSS 71.
