Douglas Park AGM

The Douglas Park 2006 Prizewinners Prize Winners, 2006

The ladies section of Douglas Park Golf Club held their Annual General Meeting and Prize Giving on Saturday 27th January 2007. Past Captain Mrs. Alison Nicolson presented the incoming Lady Captain, Mrs. Janet Dow with the Lady Captain's Badge. The 2006 prize winners gathered on the steps of the Club House (with trophies in hand) for a group photo. The Club Championship was won by Mrs. Helen Faulds, with runner up, Mrs. Lindsay MacLean.

Mary Craig is the new Captain of Ranfurly Castle

Over 50 ladies attended the Ranfurly Castle AGM this evening. Mary Craig is now the new Captain, Rosemary Reedie, the past captain and Mary Hardie is the vice captain.
Nancy MacGadie, the 2006 Club Champion gave a vote of thanks after the prizegiving which followed the AGM

Belle Robertson is Honorary Vice President of the SLGA

Many congratulations go to Belle Robertson MBE who became an Honorary Vice President to the Scottish Ladies Golfing Association for her services to golf.
Belle was presented with her badge at the SLGA AGM which was held at the Quality Hotel in Perth today

The Annual General Meeting and Presentation of Prizes has been postponed today (Thursday 18th) and will now take place on Monday 22nd January 2007 at 7:45pm. It is hoped that all members will be present and new members will be especially welcome.
