It was a Swedish final at North Berwick today. In a quality final played at a breakneck pace by modern standards Anna Nordqvist (who had beaten West of Scotland's Kylie Walker in the 2nd round) beat the no 1 seed Caroline Hedwall.
Top seed Caroline Hedwall defeated her sister 4 & 3 this morning to seal her place in the final.
Former British Girls' Champion, Anna Norqvist took the other spot with a 2 & 1 victory, resisting the spirited challenge of Crieff's Roseanne Niven.

Caroline Hedwall (SWE) beat Jacqueline Hedwall (SWE) 4 and 3
Roseanne Niven (SCO) lost to Anna Nordqvist (SWE) 2 and 1
FINAL:
Caroline Hedwall (Swe) lost to Anna Nordqvist (SWE) 3 and 2
