Karyn Burns (Mearns Castle) was the only women to play in the pro am at Douglas Park yesterday. Karyn who previously was the assistant pro at Douglas Park played well in exceedingly windy, wet and testing conditions. She played with Lady Captain Gladys Speedie, Janet Dow and Anne Fergusson.

Their chosen charity Alzheimer Scotland was also a winner with around £2200 being raised so far with the raffle and auction proceeds.
