HAZEL IS TOP SCOT IN 7TH PLACE IN SCOTTISH UNDER 18'S OPEN STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP

Emily Price made it three big wins in a row over the past two weeks when she beat 13-year-old Annabel Fuller in an all-England play-off for the inaugural Scottish Under-18 girls' open amateur stroke-play championship after they had tied at the end of the regulation 54 holes at Strathmore Golf Centre, Alyth.
It took only one play-off hole to determine the overall winner, with Price birdieing the 16th for the championship

Hazel MacGarvie from Troon Ladies was the leading Scot in seventh place, ending her week on level par 216 with scores of 71, 73 and 72. Birdies at the 11th and 14th helped to keep her in the top 10.
Aboyne’s Shannon McWilliam just missed out on a top 10 finish with rounds of 74, 73 and 71 for two-over 218 and a share of 11th place.
Home course hope Kirsty Brodie finished joint 18th on 222 with 75-73-74.

West of Scotland players Jillian Farrell (Cardross) -- 224, Louise Duncan (West Kilbride) -- 228 and Jennifer Rankine (Haggs Castle) -- 232 all played well on the final day to finish 21st, 29th and 38th respectively.
