Fiona de Vries lost her overnight lead but she is still in there pitching for the title with one round to go in the Senior British women's open amateur golf championship over a very wet course at Hilton Templepatrick Golf Club near Belfast.
The St Andrews hotelier followed up an opening five-over-par 75, which had been good enough to give her a one shot lead, with a 77 for 10-over-par 152 at the 36-hole mark.
Susan Dye (Delamere Forest) slipped past the Scot into the pole position with a 75 to take a one-shot lead on 152.
Another English player, Jane Rees from Hendon, also had a 75 to be lying third on 153.
Scottish senior match-play champion Lorna Bennett (Ladybank) is not out of contention by any means on 156. She had a 77 to be joint fifth at the end of the second day.
