Banchory Golf Club is delighted to report that the Management Committee have recently recognised the significant contributions of  by Ann Smart and has awarded her Honorary Life Membership of the club.

Ann retired from her role of Secretary at the end of the 2019 playing season and not only served the club loyally in her employment, but represented the club in numerous capacities including roles at county and national levels.

Ann was also a past Management Committee member, a multiple Ladies Champion and Ladies Captain 2006 - 2007. As those that know Ann will attest it was not what she did for the club that is to her credit but the manner in which she did so, showing a love and enthusiasm for the game at all times.

Many congratulations Ann -- so very very well deserved
