Martine Pow wins the Border County Championship

Martine Pow and Tara MacTaggart gave an outstanding display of golf over the weekend in the Borders County Championship.

In the final Martine played a blinder and showed signs of why she won “The Scottish Womens’ Amateur Golf Championship in 2006” now becoming  their champion for 2019.

Tara wins Borders title for fourth year in a row

Tara Mactaggart (Minto), pictured, has won the Border women's county championship for the fourth year in a row.
In yesterday's final at The Roxburghe she beat Julie Birdsall 4 and 3. 

The bronze championship was won by Olivia O'Leary with 38 Stableford points.
