Past Fife Captain and Past President Christine Steedman has died

It is with much sadness to hear today that Fife Counties Past Captain & Past President Christine Steedman lost her brave fight and passed away this morning.  

Christine was a great friend to many and loved her golf, she will be very sorely missed by all

She can be seen here presenting the Trophies at East of Scotland Championships at Elie in 2016 -- Read more on the old Kirkwood Golf website

She was also part of the Midlands Vets team who played against a West Vets Team in 2019 at Falkirk in the MID WEST TROPHY MATCH -- Click Here for photos

ELAINE MOFFAT WINS MASTERS CATEGORY FOR GOLFING ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2019/2020


East Fife Annual Sporting Awards 2020 - Elaine Moffat won the 'Masters' category for her golfing achievements in 2019/20. 
This category was sponsored by St Andrews  Community Council. 
Elaine is the current Scottish Women's Senior Champion (2018 and 2019) beating West of Scotland's Donna Jackson in the 2019 final
Letter that Elaine received:
'On behalf of the EFSC Executive Committee I am writing to congratulate you all on being shortlisted for the EFSC Sports Awards 2020. We are very sorry not to be able to present these in person, but we are delighted to be able to write to you with the results'. 
Congratulations to winner Elaine Moffat and runners up Bill Duff and Miriam Rennet.

Gillian Paton wins the East Fife County Championship





The Final of the East Fife Championship was contested by new member, -- the 2017 Angus County Champion - Gillian Paton (St. Regulus) and former champion, Elaine Moffat (St. Regulus). 

Some super golf was played in the final and Gillian emerging the Champion by the winning margin of 3&2 - the difference between the two being Gillian's birdies coming at the right time of the round at the 12th and 15th. 

 In the Handicap Final, Ann Shepherd (Lochgelly) defeated another new member, Jude Allardice (Ladybank) by 2&1 in a very close match.
