DONNA JACKSON IS THE NEW RENFREWSHIRE COUNTY CAPTAIN


The RLCGA AGM and prizegiving was held was held at Haggs Castle Golf Club on the Wednesday 3rd November.

Despite travel restrictions due to COP26 in Glasgow there was a very good turnout.

Donna Jackson (Troon Ladies) is the new County Captain taking over from Sandra Littlejohn (Erskine) and Liz Stewart (Greenburn) the new Vice Captain.

SANDRA LITTLEJOHN IS NEW CAPTAIN OF RENFREWSHIRE LADIES' COUNTY GOLF ASSOCIATION

 60 ladies attended the 110th RLCGA AGM which was held at Haggs Castle Golf Club last night  -- the 6th November 2019.

Captain June Lockhart was delighted to welcome everyone and gave an excellent review of the year and also congratulated Ayrshire County on becoming the 2019 Scottish Team Champions.

All other convenors gave their reviews of the year:

Secretary Carol McNally read out all the Prizewinners from 2019
Junior Convenor Gillian Kyle  gave an excellent report on the successful Juniors this year.
Thanks go to Fiona Armour for all the photographs from the AGM and also organising and running a survey for all the members.
Course Rating was also reviewed by Maureen Mitchell of the Old Course Ranfurly 
June then handed over the captaincy to Sandra Littlejohn (Erskine) and thanked her for all her help over the last 2 years.

Sandra was delighted to be able to inform everyone that Donna Jackson the Renfrewshire County Champion for 11 times and County Team member for 36 years was her Vice Captain.

PEARL ORR IS ELECTED AS THE NEW PRESIDENT AT THE RENFREWSHIRE COUNTY AGM

Over 60 ladies attended the 109th RLCGA AGM which was held at Haggs Castle Golf Club last night  -- the 7th November 2018.

Captain June Lockhart was delighted to welcome Pearl Orr as the new President and Jennifer Mack steps down after her term in office.

June gave a excellent review of the year. She also informed the members of all  Scottish Golf Meetings and Amalgamation discussions throughout the year  and a vote was taken to increase the handicap limit from 24 to 30 which was accepted by the members.

Maureen Mitchell (Old Ranfurly) reported on the Course rating in Renfrewshire and in other areas
All other convenors gave their reviews of the year.
Dates of some 2019 fixtures were also given.

At the end of the evening Carol Fell and Fiona Armour were both presented with Renfrewshire Jackets embossed with "WEBMASTER' for all their posts, photography and development on the new RLCGA WEBSITE and also the expanded posts onto this website
