Cathkin Braes Pauline Warlaw wins the Gourlay Trophy at Carnoustie

LOCAL TEENAGER JESSICA TAMES CARNOUSTIE

Carnoustie teenager Jessica Meek produced an outstanding round of 73 (seven under the CSS) to win the premier scratch award, the Carnoustie Rosebowl, in the Northern Ladies Open over the Carnoustie championship links on Saturday.
Jessica, a Carnoustie Ladies GC member, finished five shots ahead of runner-up Shonagh Raitt (Forfar) with Jacqueline Sneddon (Alyth) and Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuir), the only other players to broke 80, joint third.
Pauline Warlow (Cathkin Braes) won the Gourlay Trophy for the best net round of 74 off nine.
