Lanarkshire recorded a fine win against
Ayrshire in their first Friendly Match of the season. This was played over Ballochmyle Golf Course which was in excellent condition in spite of the very heavy rain experienced yesterday. Team captain
Rachel Irvine got the only point for Ayrshire but with four of the five games going the full distance it was all very close.
