Disaster for West Vet Lesley Lloyd on way to Blairgowrie

The quarter finals of the Scorttish Vet Championships teed off today over the Lansdowne Golf Course at Blairgowrie..

Unfortunately West Vet Champion Lesley Lloyd was involved in a car accident on the way up to Blairgowrie

A replacement was tried to be acquired but West Vets were unable to meet the 2pm tee time. As a result Lynda Robertson (Dumfries) representative  from Dumfries got a walk over.

Thankfully Lesley was ok.

Sheena Wood (Northern) beat Janice Whiteford (Borders) 8&6

Mary Smith (Highland) lost to Lynda Dyball (Midland) 2&1

Jennifer Bryans (East) lost to Fiona Hunter (Galloway) 3&2

Lesley Lloyd (West) lost to Lynda Robertson (Dumfries) W/O
