Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll shot one of the lowest rounds of her fledgling pro career to share the first-round lead in the Samso Women's Open at Samso Golf Club, Denmark today (Thursday).
Katy had four birdies and one bogey for a three-under-par 69 to share the pole position with Corie Hou from Australia in cool and wet conditions
Pamela Pretswell from Hamilton was in joint seventh place with a 72.
Pamela Feggans from Patna, Ayshire had a 77 to share 25th place overnight.
Glasgow's Gemma Webster had an 83 to be joint 46th.
