INDOOR GOLF ACADEMY EVENT AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thursday 22 November 2012
IMPROVE YOUR SHORT GAME AT THE INDOOR GOLF ACADEMY
Do You Want to Improve Your Short Game?At the Indoor Academy We Guarantee it!
At Glasgow Golf Centre we are passionate about golf and our aim is to help you lower your scores. Our Short Game Courses guarantee to improve your game by giving you the skills to hit the ball closer.Join one of our Short Game Courses and if you don't improve your scores you can retake the course for free as many times as you need.
Tour Professionals - Average % of Putts HoledTo improve your scores you need to have a confident short game that gets you closer to the hole more often.Even the top players in the world average only 1 in 3 attempts at putts between 10-15 feet and the longer the putt the worse it gets. Inside of 10 feet things look better and once you have the skills to consistently hit it even closer the percentages start to look great.A short game course with Advanced PGA Professional Karyn Burns will have you hitting it closer more often. Having experienced one of Karyn's courses first hand I am happy to guarantee that if you don't start hitting it consistently closer you can take the course again for free until you do.Courses run from December to allow you to get your game in great shape for the start of your next golfing year. Costing less than most people spend on a new wedge it is the best investment you can make in your game this off season.
Short Game Course DetailsCourse cost only £75 and offers the following:
- 1 hour Initial Individual Assessment Lesson
- 3 x 1 hour group coaching sessions (max 4 people per group)
- 1 hour Individual Lesson and Skills Assessment
- Additional 1 to 1 and group coaching as required to ensure success
- All practice balls included at no extra cost
- Equipment available if required
- Daytime, evening and weekend courses available
If you and your friends want to arrange your own private group we would be delighted to discuss this with you.
Call 0141 429 8622 or send an email to book your place.

OPEN SPECIAL TREAT AT THE GLASGOW GOLF CENTRE
This week as an 'Open Special Treat' at Glasgow Golf Centre we will have the GC2 Launch Monitor on the range for you to have a try if you are down for a practice session, the GC2, as used on Sky TV, will give you information on the distances you are hitting it as well as the accuracy. If you have not been to visit us at the Indoor centre yet I'm assuming either you have not been getting much golf or you have been getting very wet! Come along and visit us soon, practice and stay dry!
We are running kids camps, probably the week beginning 30th July and the week beginning 6th August. The camp runs Monday to Friday 10am-1pm and costs £50 for the week/child, there is an option of extending each day for an hour for a supervised practice session until 2pm for an extra £15 so £65 total for the week. There will be a maximum of 10 kids per group. We did the ClubGolfCamp a couple of weeks ago with 14 kids and it was a great success. Following the summer holidays we will begin weekly kids coaching, if you are interested or know anyone who might be, get in touch.
Lastly, as always I will be doing individual lessons and group lessons throughout the rest of the season so if you would like to book an appointment, we can try and improve your game before the season ends. I am also looking for ideas as to what you golfers would like to learn about the most so I can have an informative evening where you can learn and also do some practice within the centre, please reply with any suggsetions and i will endevour to put together a great session for you! I will keep you updated with what is going on at the Indoor Academy at Glasgow Golf Centre but in the meantime you may check out the website at www.indoorgolfacademies.co.uk, follow us on facebook at Glasgow Golf Centre or Twitter @glasgowgolf for all our chat and the latest offers.
Oh, and just incase you like a flutter, my top tips for The Open are: Phil Mickleson, Rickie Fowler and my outsider Simon Dyson! GOOD LUCK!
Kind Regards and Good Golfing Always, with a smiley face.
