Congratulations go to Linda McDougall who won the Greenock Ladies Championship for a record 20th time by beating Dorothy Fisher at the weekend. Conditions were blustery and there were several heavy showers before the sun broke through mid afternoon.
Linda broke the record in 2015 which had been held by Kathleen McNeil a past president of Renfrewshire Ladies County Golf Association, the Ladies Golf Union and Scottish Ladies Golf Association. -- CLICK HERE to read more
Also that day Renfrewshire County Team player Alyson McGinnigle played immacualate golf to defeat Fiona Cameron in the final of Cowglen Golf Club Ladies Championship - Well done Alyson
