SCOTLAND WOMEN WIN THE HOME INTERNATIONALS IN BALLYBUNION

SCOTLAND WOMEN

Scotland have won the women's home internationals title at Ballybunion Golf Club today by beating England and Ireland on a countback. 

They beat Ireland, the defending champions,  6 - 3 while England beat Wales 6.5-2.5.
Scotland, Ireland and England all won two matches out of three and the Scots prevailed in the countback with 16.5 games won to England's 15.5 and Ireland's 15.5

E Briggs and C. Jaffrey halved with J Ross and S Burke

SCOTLAND GIRLS 

Scotland, were beaten 5.5-3.5 by Ireland in their final match and finished last in the girls' home internationals at Ballybunion Golf Club, Ireland.
England retained the title with a 5-4 win over Wales
