The RLCGA August County Stableford was played yesterday in high winds and showers over East Renfrewshire Golf Course
32 ladies braved the elements and considering the conditions, which saw trolley’s being blown over and balls getting chased off the green, there were some remarkable points accrued despite the weather. The overall winner was new county member Joan Walker (Balfron) as was the 2nd Divisional winner Heather Climson (East Renfrewshire)

For the 1st time this season the Players Course Conditions (PCC) - (a bit like the old CSS) was up by +3 which shows how difficult it was and this is applied to the players handicap calculations in their record
